THE SECRET

This article is very difficult to write: By that I do not mean my grammar, but how I am to convince you in writing of the importance of a great knowledge I have finally started to understand. At this point I suppose you could say I am at the “learning to walk stage” of using the knowledge, although I have known it all my life but not understood its power or how to use it. 

I briefly described the concept of visualization in ‘  The Power of Dreams’ elsewhere on this site and that is probably a simplified version of what is referred to as ‘The Secret' or 'The Law of Attraction' .

Okay, I know you’ve probably heard it before and dismissed it as mumbo jumbo rubbish, but I really think you should give it another look. Many people use its power to achieve what seems like an impossible task to people on the outside. Quite often they use this power without realising it. The secret is to know how and when to use this law.
I have pondered on this article for a couple of days and do not know how to describe the concept adequately to you, all I know is that it has worked for me probably more times than I know on a small scale but I can identify at least six times on a greater scale where without doubt this law worked.
Its not just ‘thought’ but ‘intensely detailed thought’ that spawns ideas and visual images in your mind that become real. It’s as if you see it before it happens.

Right now I am going to post this article to my website and put a couple of links to assets that have helped me understand the concept more. I thoroughly recommend that you invest in both the book and the DVD. Then watch the DVD at least two or three times when you are alone with no distractions. Also, read the book at least twice and try to savour each paragraph, do not just read it for readings sake as the importance is in the detail.
The first link is to the Nightingale Conant site where you can purchase ‘The Secret' on DVD. This is an American based feature length DVD with a number of speakers. Do not be put off by the theatricals, they are doing their best to explain ‘The Secret' to you. If it was twice the price it would still be too cheap.

  Think & Grow Rich

The second link is to the Nightingale Conant site where you should get an audiobook called 'Think and Grow Rich' by Napoleon Hill. It’s an old book that has been rewritten a number of times. The wording is in the old style that Napoleon Hill used and is a great read as well as being full of real life examples of ‘The Secret' if you consider the text carefully.

The only tip I can give is while thinking and visualising the solution or achievement in your head make written or recorded notes of everything that you see or think however crazy or “off the wall” they seem because it maybe the key to your future. I know this works and I will achieve even greater success now I understand it more. Reading back through this article I am not convinced I have done a good enough job of convincing you.
